FlashStack Converged Infrastructure Solution Design Guide for VMware Horizon View 6.2

This document describes a reference architecture for deploying VMware vSphere environments on Pure Storage FlashArray (FA-400 series) using VMware vSphere 5.5 U1, VMware View 6.2, VMware ViewPlanner 3.0.1 (a performance testing tool for Virtualized desktop simulation), and Windows 7 as the guest operating systems. Pure Storage has validated the reference architecture with in its lab – this document presents the hardware and software configuration, the workload configuration and the results and further offers implementation, sizing guidance.
